Patricia Nazario was born in New York City and partially raised in Los Angeles. She's been a news reporter for 10 years, including local TV news in upstate New York and in central Florida.

Taking time away from the camera to earn her Masters degree led her to public radio. Patricia was in the graduate journalism program at Columbia University in New York City when the Twin Towers were attacked on September 11, 2001.

Patricia freelanced from Buenos Aires, Argentina during that country's worst-ever economic crisis. She's also reported from Colombia, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. Before returning to L.A., Patricia worked in Miami.
