Forget legalizing it—tax it!

Hey LAMERUS
yeah we get your point, pot is mainly being used as recreation!!! STFU already and get back to discussing STRATEGY as the good man Mr. Rosendahl was attempting to discuss. It's a glacial process that is well underway. You have to work slowly you can't just drop it on the public all in their faces you will draw out small but vocal religious nuts conservatives like yourself.
Hats off to Tom he gave you the smack down with really good points and then you get all snarky even with the good sir Mr. Rosendahl. This public radio lamerus hold back on your snarky sensationalist closet conservative style and just moderate interviews with educated opinions by experts.

You have two issues that are being solved by one policy: break it up into two!
People that need it medically should get it from the pharmacy, with a prescription, paid for like they pay for other drugs. There should be a law governing this just like we have for Tylenol with codine.
People that want it recreationally should have to follow other laws (which currently make it illegal). The discussion of legalizing recreational marijuana should be different from the medical marijuana discussion.
