LA supes poised to consider plan to replace Men's Central Jail with mental health jail

Tuesday could be a critical moment in the 10-year effort to tear down the dilapidated Men's Central Jail in downtown L.A. and replace it with a mental health jail. The Board of Supervisors will consider a motion to greenlight the $2.2 billion project. But there's a competing motion that would delay that effort.
