Forever 21 Declares Bankruptcy Amid Tough Times For LA Retail Workers

There's no word yet on how many stores Los Angeles-based Forever 21 will close in Southern California after filing for bankruptcy. But local retail workers have already been seeing jobs disappear as more consumers shop online.

Despite an otherwise strong job market, clothing retail jobs in L.A. County are still down more than five percent from pre-recession levels. And the state's employment department projects even more job losses are coming.
